 Atari XL/WiiXL & Atari7800/Wii7800 Channels
The atari2600 channel is great. Has anyone considered one for the Atari7800 & WiiXL? I would really love ones for those.

Welcome to the forums! Merry Christmas.
There was a rough and ready 7800 one floating about. Its pretty easy to modify existing channels, you should try customizemii.

 Re: Atari XL/WiiXL & Atari7800/Wii7800 Channels
If I made one for the WiiXL I was thinking about the demo fuji swan where the swan flies in front of a really cool looking huge Atari symbol or the Atari symbol that bounces around in 3D or the robot walking toward the screen in 3D. These were all original demos I had on my Atari 800XL & 1200XL. Do you think that's a good idea & does it sound usable or do-able?

 Re: Atari XL/WiiXL & Atari7800/Wii7800 Channels
It's all doable, but you'd be better starting with something simpler. Start by changing the images in an existing channel, then start making minor edits to the brand/brlyts. Once you're happy with all of that then you could start more ambitious custom animations.

 Re: Atari XL/WiiXL & Atari7800/Wii7800 Channels
I wish I had time to do so. I work so much OT on salary pay. I'm just glad to have a decent job that pays well right now. Is customizemii hard to learn. I really want a channel for Atari 7800 & Atari XL. If I had what I needed how long would it take you just for example knowing I'm just a Noobie but wanting your imput?

 Re: Atari XL/WiiXL & Atari7800/Wii7800 Channels
it's not hard to learn at all. better if you know what brlyts are, an how they work. use portapack 2.1.9. makes it alot easier. i used this to make my first channel. not a good one but it works. you can use any channel an make a new one.. the berserker robot sounds cool.. or a Galaxyia theme.. they march across the screen, http://code.google.com/p/portapackunplu ... loads/list
