Xuzz/IceFire, megazig and the other guys wrote Wii.py
(which wadder 3.0 used) because pywii remained unreleased. Wii.py is a lot cleaner, but i do see a lot of similarities as i'm skimming through the pywii code. pywii also has some features i don't remember seeing in Wii.py
I remember having a copy of Alameda around when CustomizeMii first was released, although i never really got it to work on anything else than the HBC. I don't know if it was a different version from the one posted here. I never really learned to edit brlyt/brlan files. It's pretty neat tho reading how they animated the HBC before Benzin

Their work was way more thorough than needed for some tinkering. They really went great lengths to understand and document the different formats. Why they didn't release this earlier puzzles me...
