Post Re: How to compile waninkoko's nand-loader
Is there something new from the one we are already using? :|
Or is it just recompiled with the newest libraries. :>

Just recompiled.

It will end up with the following fixes:
002 fix
green screen fix
time/date bug fix
maybe more?

How to compile waninkoko's nand-loader
I've got this bad boy going again! (:)

You will need:
devkitpro

special libogc
http://www.mediafire.com/file/gxztj2mjdjw/libogc-02-08-2009.zip
I believe this is from the USB Loader GX Forwarder, but I could be wrong.

waninkoko's source
You can get it from his github, but you'll need to take these two lines out of the makefile to get it to work:
Code:
DEVKITPRO =   /opt/devkitPPC
DEVKITPPC =   /opt/devkitPPC

Attachment:
File comment: Source code. The only edit was to remove the two "DEVKITXXX = /opt/devkitPPC" at the top of the make file.
waninkokoNL.zip [1.02 MiB]
Downloaded 57 times

a wad and app that you know work with wanin's nand-loader
You can use other wads, but this one should work and will help for testing.
Attachment:
File comment: A wad with this in and working. Some dols don't like it. E.g. WiiEarth 2.2. Best to start with point you know is good!
ATDWaninTodayTest - TEST.wad [1.07 MiB]
Downloaded 60 times

Remember that wanin's nandloader is 02.app!

Post Re: How to compile waninkoko's nand-loader
Here's a version with just the following fixes applied:

loader.c
002 fix (unfortunately hard codes the IOS used)
Green screen fix
Date bug fix
Edited paths in makefile

added lz77.c and lz77.h from triiforce but they are unused

You might be able to fix the hard coded IOS by looking here:
http://code.google.com/p/triiforce/source/browse/trunk/source/main.c
Code:
        // Remove 002 error
        Print("Fake IOS Version(%u)\n", requested_ios);
        *(u16 *)0x80003140 = requested_ios;
        *(u16 *)0x80003142 = 0xffff;
        *(u16 *)0x80003188 = requested_ios;
        *(u16 *)0x8000318A = 0xffff;

It would be nice to get this working with the "standard" libogc :D

You will also need (same link as a few posts above):
special libogc
http://www.mediafire.com/file/gxztj2mjdjw/libogc-02-08-2009.zip
I believe this is from the USB Loader GX Forwarder, but I could be wrong.

Woulden't it be possible for CustomizeMii to setup the startup IOS option to be able to edit some of the code in the nand loader, and be customizable with IOS used for the loader?
