Hi guys, i'm back. but now i have unlearnt all this stuff. i have a problem now, to come back in this matter i've used the wadder base 1 wad. i change the logo and the logo size (wight hight at the tpl and in the brylt) but now when i start the channel ALL images are black. any ideas about that?

If it's the brlyt, i'm not help, but the TPL format may be wrong, the LZ77 compression be may corrupt, the U8 archives may be corrupt, the WAD encryption may be corrupt.
There is a lot which can go wrong.
If you used the CMD tools several people made, the chance it is any of the problems i listed may be the case is much higher.

What i'm trying to say is, explain the WHOLE process, not just, "i swapped a TPL, and changed the dimention in BRLYT".
This will help people help you. ;)

-open up Customemizemii
-load "WADder base 1"
-Ectract WadderMain.tpl
-Extract banner.brylt
-convert brylt with Benzin
- change the image in PS (new logo other size (260px x 262px) )
-Replace WadderMain.tpl with my new image
-Right Click on WadderMain.tpl and change size to 260px x 262px
- open up banner.xmlyt and chnage:


to

-Convert xmlyt back to brylt with benzin
-replace old banner.brylt with the new one
-press on SendWAD and install it AND
black pictures on wii channel

test this stuff with a custom sound, same result. i can here the sound but black images.

if i change all changes back to normal the channel works right

Yes, far too dusty

Post your dodgy black images channel and let's have a look at it!

Test 1: instead of using customizemii to change the size of the image (the right click thing) do it manually. (a) turn off safety checks (b) delete the tpl in customizemii (c) add your new image in and it will use the new size

Test 2: isolate the problem step. So do (a) resize image, (b) change image, (c) replace brlyt, (d) edit brlyt all at once. Instead do one at a time and see which bit breaks it. Change as little as possible each time and build on it step by step.

thx guys, for now sym from the wiithemeteam helped me out and now all works fine.and now i can continue my work....

only error i have atm is the wide screen thing i tried 00 and 01 but there are no different's (both give my a stretched image on wide screen tv's)

You also need to play with the "flag".

I can't remember the difference between WidescreenAffected and flag, but I think both need to be set to 1.

You can either do this at the pane level, or the picture level.

Or you can split it so:
WidescreenAffected = 1 at the pane level and
flag = 1 at the pic level.
Or vice versa.

I'm afraid my memory has faded and I can't rememebr the specifics on what each achieves. The hardest widescreen issues I ever faced were on my FCEU channel, trying to get the little characters to move properly on both widescreen and 4:3 within the same channel gave me many headaches. Have a look at that channel for some examples of usage of widescree/flag settings.
