Notes: You will also need DVDX install and MPlayer_CE in sd:\apps as it contains more than just the dol. See nes-hacks.com or WiiBrew.org for more info

Also to update to a newer version of MPlayer_CE all you have to do is just replace the boot.dol with the the new one and you should be good to go

I updated so much in this channel where do i start, okay so one of the really sweet updates i made was adding a animated spark for the play button blast to make flash on the logo more realistic, add about 2 more sec to sound.bin, new icon logo and background, also redid so much in the banner its self its just not wroth talking about lol the blocks of the channel have got much larger i think this is because of sound.bin but i mite be wrong.

And on a side note im just about happy with this channel now im thinking all do one more update to it.

I've made a few updates:

1. The logo in the icon now floats up and down rather than bouncing at the bottom
2. The hover text in the channel screen now includes language specific versions
3. I've converted the sound to mono BNS (thanks megazig and Leathl). Now it's 21 blocks instead of 29.
4. I've included a splash forwarder which will load from SD/USB (not all usb drives work)
5. I've included two versions with different nand loaders (comex and wanin), the wanin one should exit without code dump from MPCEv0.76
6. Alternatively use the comex one with MPCEv0.75 or the 23Dec09 beta in comment 22, here

The forwarder (source included) attempts the following, in this order:

1. SD:/apps/mplayer_ce/boot.dol
2. SD:/mplayer_ce/boot.dol
3. USB:/apps/mplayer_ce/boot.dol
4. USB:/mplayer_ce/boot.dol

I change the icon and the banner images just a little bit + added a custom splash screen!! Also this will load the latest version of MPlayer_CE just make sure you have ios58 installed. But you won't see what changes i made in this video its old, if someone would like to make a updated video for me i will post it, just make sure its done on a 16.9 TV

I'm making a legal channel for wiimc from scratch. I think you'll both like it.

close2insanity (channel author) bricked his Wii a while ago and we haven't seen much of him since. Without his original artwork it would be a mission to swap the mplayer logo for the wiimc logo. You'd basically have to start again on the two images that include the logo.

.I tried change the logo (icon and banner wiimc) but I have a brick (I use SNEEK)

If you post your artwork I will try to put it into this channel for you.

Does this forwarder work or cause bricks?

The one in the first post is fine, dant. said it bricked when he tried to edit it.

You should always have brick protection anyway, so bricks are not a real risk.

Hi there guys;

I've tried installing both forwarders (WAD installer 1.7) and I keep getting the same problem everytime.

After selecting the channel and clicking on start, I see the loading screen, but it gets stuck at that and the Wii freezes up. The only way out is powering the console off.

I've checked everything, mplayer_ce path (sd:/apps/mplayer_ce/boot.dol), and I do not know what else to do... Any ideas?

By the way, the version of MPlayer I'm trying is the latest (r600) and works perfectly launched from the HBC
