I'm sure that would be possible. It'd probably be very similar code to mymenuify. Instead of slapping 000000XX.app on the nand under 00000001/00000002 you would slap 00000000.app on the nand under 00010001/0000IDID, or whereever installed channels are saved.
It might feck up the fakesigning though?

Twiizers' doesen't want people to redistribute the hbc, even if it's just a banner change.
and ninty doesnt want us to hack their console. guess whos higher up on the chain?
with the changed id, bootmii and other programs that launch the hbc wont launch this particular one. i wonder if it would be possible to just "inject" a banner directly into a preinstalled wii channel...
Couldn't you just edit this channel to have the same id and the "current/original one"... (I'm sure you all already thought of this)
Doesn't installing a channel with the same id overide the old one?
If not, just remove the old HBC, with wad manager and install this one (with an edited ID (jodi))
I'm assuming that bootmii and priiloader will work properly after this is done..
Sorry if this sounds like a bunch of gibberish... I'm discussing it with myself...lol
I don't think I'd recommend this though... If it doesn't work, you're leaving yourself open to bricks.

Definitely, but I think Jacol was just thinking of way to distribute stuff like this avoiding infringing TT's copyright on the 01.app within the channel.

I believe you could check out where they are stored with FSToolbox or WAD manager's source.

ShowMiiWads tells you for example (last column where it says "path").

I knew where to find the folder, I just didn't have the right tools with me. Anyway, I tested it with SNEEK, all you have to do to change the icon and banner is swap out 00000000.app in the right folder.
title\00010001\IDIDIDID\00000000.app

Re: MyChannelify
Worked fine in SNEEK doing nothing more than switching the 00.app. Having said that SNEEK may remove some checks, so it would need to be tested on a proper Wii (wii bootmii@boot2 of course). I don't have the source of mymenuify to check it though... Jacol or diddy81 - you still got the source?
