nah, you set the loop point in the .wav. This is transferred to the .bns. (or with customizemii you can set a loop point). So it's all in one file, but it plays the intro once and loops the rest.

HBC does this. My early c64 channel does it (I think!). close2insanity's mplayer channel does it too!

So does the song i posted. :P

It's prelooped. ;)

But those looppoints are ignored in most of the mediaplayers...

I don't think wavosaur is part of the most category...I only found out about wavosaur when I joined wadder...

Dunno if anyone knows, but with Wave looppoints, you can even let the file play, then loop a part XX times, let it play further, loop another part XX times and let it play again and then loop the end forever. Just as an example. I actually never came around to test if the Wii can handle multiple looppoints and loopcounts.

Cool, any free software that lets you set multiple loop points? Wavosaur seems to be limited to a single infinitely repeating loop. Audacity doesn't seem to do loops at all.

I thought perhaps the HBC does this, but I extracted that and it appears that it doesn't. From my brief look at bns a while ago it didn't seem to have scope for this sort of multi-looping, but the Wii might accept it in wav form.

I think there might be a slight error in how customizemii coverts .bns to .wav. The HBC audio gets a hiss over the top of it, and another audio file I tried had a click at the start. No biggy though :)

Yeah, BNS only has a single infinite loop. Wave is capable of multiple loops, but I've never seen a software that supports this..

I think i've figured out why the channel won't install with Tantric's installer. I believe that, the WiiMC IOS202 installer installs 202 with out using a base or version of the ios's that contains the trucha bug. Trucha bug = channel installing capibility. MPlayer CE's IOS202 install seems to install the channel fine. It uses bases that have trucha in it.

I don't think thats right Hunter.

I don't think it installes any IOS, just searches for one it thinks will work.

That being said, I don't see how you could test separate IOS 202's if it just picks one it thinks should work.

My IOS 202 is the MPlayer one I used before installing, and it failed. I removed it, and then the app installed the channel via 249, and passed.
Then I launched WiiMC, and it wasn't able to mount my SD card without IOS 202, so I reinstalled it.
