Post Kudos to the app makers!
Hey, I've been out of the scene for a while, but have been tinkering around with stuff again lately and finally tried out the Portapack. Just wanted to say this is an awesome collection of apps! I'll probably never use half the stuff in it, but it's cool that it's there if I need it. Major props to the portapack and all the apps in it! Thanks guys! :D If only I could run it in linux... :P

Now now, I can't take all the credit. Portapack Unplugged! would be nothing without all the apps inside it, and I didn't code a single one of them. Sure, there are GUI wrappers by me, but each of those uses a tool by other people. All I'm basically doing is making a friendly GUI to launch executables. If people like Leathl, Xuzz, XFlak, pbsds, etc etc, didn't make their apps, Portapack Unplugged! wouldn't even exist. They deserve most of the credit.

However, it's nice to see that I'm not just making PU! for myself and that people use it :D

As for Linux (and OSX), it just won't be happening. All the programs inside PU! are built for Windows, AutoIt (The PU! GUI) is made for Windows, and WinRAR (The "Now loading. Please wait..." screen) is built for Windows. It's just a Windows-only thing. Virtual Machines are your friend. :P

Yeah, I know a linux option isn't possible. I just stumbled across Oracle and plan to set up an XP virtual machine for apps like these. If only it could see my actual hardware and use the proper drivers so I could use it for like WoW and stuff, lol. Wine is just a bit of a pain for me to work with, what with not knowing what I'm doing and all, lol!
