Post Adding an extra image using ThemeMii (adding not replacing)
How do I add a new image to a theme? E.g. I want a new image on the Health Screen that moves around.

I can edit the brlyt and the brlan, but I don't know how to get the extra image in there.

Is it possible?

EDIT: I think I figured it out, but can't test just now. If I put browse through ExtractedBaseApp and create a new file called New.tpl then it appears I can use [simg1] to replace it. Will this work?

Well being the one that made the frame hack work with the health, yes its possible (:) however has been along time since i did any menu mods so i am un-sure of ways to do due to current aps of modding themes , non the less it can be done by using old school methods of writing brlyt and brlan and creating tpl and injecting it along side correct brlyt and brlans (keep in mind menu does have anim limits itself) :> also im curious to as what you have in mind, :D if you need any help please feel free to ask either i or diddy81 as we are on almost everyday back and forth with ideas and test's.

Yeah, I figured it would be possible by manually unpacking and repacking, was hoping there miht be an easier way. :)

Curiosity, eh? Well, I'd like to try putting my GX research to good use. A few ideas:

1) having moving flames at the bottom of the health and channel screen, using GX to do the distortion
2) again with GX, but using it to give a dripping paint effect when moving forward from the health screen
3) having a small blue dot that orbits (following the shape of the existing blue circle) on the Wii and Mail buttons on the channel screen, and possibly a dot that tracks along the horizontal blue line curve on the channel screen.
