I would like to know how to change the disc channel animation.

I believe the files are found somewhere within the systemmenu, and not a title.
I've seen themes change the rotating disk, which means you could parse through the themes on the forum and explore the .mym
Theming isn't my strong side, tho.
I bet diddy and the rest of the Wii Theme Team are better off answering this. ;)

changing the tpls in the diskthum.ash and diskbann.ash will make it look how you want but to change the animation you would need to edit the brlan file they arnt like a normal channel that just have 1 brlan for the thum and 1 or 2 for the banner the thum has 4 brlans and the banner has 10

each one controls a different time ie 1 controls the spin when you instead a disk and another controls the disk movement up and down when the disk has finished loading
