 Product Key?Say I have a laptop and Desktop. I have Win7 Ultimate install disc...And I want to use it for both computer...google tells me I need a new product key if I want to install it multiple times....So basiclly what my questino is why cant we use the same installation disc for two different computers?....Do we have to buy a new product for another computer?

Re: Product Key? Yeah. Found that bullshit out when I tried to reinstall Win7 Home Premium on my laptop (which it came preinstalled with) after I screwed something up.

Re: Product Key? Yep. OEM is only good for one installation. I don't think you can just buy a new key either =/

Re: Product Key? yeah, thats bs. It goes for antiviruses too. I was so pissed off that I had to buy another antivirus just to get an activation code. Well its for safety purposes really, but still I can see why they only allow one activition. just buy another one.
