Now that I got my gaming comp,uter fixed up I going to be using to write compse music and play games (of course)

When I bought my intel it came with lost planet 2 for free...it tells me to download team to play it so I am ....so dose anyone use it around here?

I have steam, but i never use it.
It's just a program where you can buy games, such as portal, half life, team fortress, etc...
You can also download demos, previews, trailers and keep in touch with your friends.

lol sorry about the typos...I had to leave somewhere so I was in a hurry...but anyway...it's becuase i got a free lost planet 2 with i5 cpu. It gave me the code to launh it with steam so I did. it downloads but then when i start it, it shows loast planet 2 lucher window with three options...

directx9 version
directx11 version
close

any of them I click on it closes any help?

Hm... i know why the "Close" button closes it:P
But you could try to install Directx9 and 11(if your graphic card supports it)
Reinstall it if you already have it
Make sure you also update to Directx9c

It's version c of directx9.

you know in steam it says community games and all that stuff? well mines says nothing....damm Im going to talk to the steam forums

Have you activated the games? or added a non steam game short cut?
