Any possibility of having the dark red converted to orange? That would be awesome...

Any idea on how can I achieve it?

TIA

Your going to have to open up the mym file and you file these files named FILE or somthinth like that. They are ash files, You want to use a u8 program and open that up. You will find three folders and in one of those folders you will find alot of file with "nameoffile".tpl. Use a tpl converter and convert those to pngs. Edit in gimp to Orange and boom. Repack everything and yeah :D

Any possibility of obtaining the original png files for this theme, for conversion purposes?

Yes, that's what I did using TplMii.exe and a batch script from command line... Still, I have LOTS of files...

Do you have any idea what each ash file is used for or which files need to be touched?

TIA.

This may help you: http://fathertom.net/hardwii/?p=375

But Diddy is quite right, you just need to have a go at it. It's hard and that's why we do it... For the challenge. If you have a go and need help with specific parts we'll be glad to help.

Any suggestion on a nice brlyt editor (apart from Notepad :p)?

I have a problem that I don't know why it happens and you may know why... The PNG images I edited in Gimp (after extracted from TPL with TplMii.exe using -rgb565), look blurry on the Wii...

Check here: Image.

What can be the reason. Only thing I did was changing the red colour by the orange, nothing else and packed back to TPL (also with TplMii.exe using -rgb565). What software would you advise to edit the PNG images?

It seems to me that it can be something with the extraction/pack process, as the background image was not even edited in Gimp, just extracted and then packed back to TPL and it looks the same...

I'm basically using this tutorial...

Thanks in advance for any help.

Great tip, worked perfectly!

I was thinking of using the same health screen/back image on settings that you have in your Dark Red theme, but colourizing to make it orange. Do you see any issue on doing this?

I plan to share the theme with you guys, if anybody is interested...

My orange theme is almost ready, but I found a small glitch maybe you can help me solve.

When in Settings, and I click the 'Back' button, it shows a white rectangle over it...

When in Mail, and I click the 'Back' button, it shows a white area equal to the button over it...

From what I saw in the original red theme, second behaviour is the correct one... Where can this be controlled for the Settings or what can be wrong?

Thanks in advance!
