USB Channel - USB Loader Forwarder
Forwards to: Path specified in sd:\forwarders\usbloader.cfg and load boot.[dol|elf] from there (if specified) USB:\apps\usbloader\boot.[dol|elf] SD:\apps\usbloader\boot.[dol|elf]
Based on: Disc channel. Mostly been re-done, but there are elements of re-skinning, so i've put it in this section to be on the safe side.

File comment: Updated. Used smaller image formats where possible, added Korean text, and main text now fades in like it should. USB Channel_-_USBQ_v3.0.wad [1.03 MiB]

Different colours now available, see mediafire link below second video.
I had a play with changing the colour of the hard drive using the colours in the brlyt. The results aren't perfect, but they're not too bad:
Download any of the colours seen in the video here: mediafire
If you want different colours then you'll need to edit the brlyt. You could probably do this in a hex editor, but it'll be easier with benzin. Edit backcolor to change the main colour, edit forecolor to edit the spine of the drive:

Re: USB Channel - USB Loader Forwarder
I recently tried to use this in in conjunction with USB Loader GX 2.0 and it doesn't seem to work anymore. It used to work alright with older builds of USB Loader GX. Any possibility of rebuilding it to play nice with the newer versions? Thanks!

Re: USB Channel - USB Loader Forwarder
Hi wilsoff, I was trying to use your banner/icon/animation with the official .dol forwarder and one AHBPROT enabled .WAD, but when I started adding images to the new .WAD (at CustomizeMii) I saw you used formats like CI8+RBG5A3 or CI8+IA8 on your channel as you said two post above and I don't find a way to use those formats at CustomizeMii. I'm a newbie and I don't want to screw everything up.
So, my question is if you can enable AHBPROT on your channel, so people will be able to play with changing the .dol without losing the cool formats and images you used.
Thanks in advantage for any reply or help.

Re: USB Channel - USB Loader Forwarder
Hmmm... I've never really understood AHBPROT, I think it just a change to a flag in the .tik or .tmd.
Best bet... Load my channel in CustomizeMii and extract all images (see below) and brlans and brlyts Take a channel that has the AHBPROT and the forwarder dol that works how you like. Load it in CustomizeMii Turn off safety checks (green radio button somewhere) Delete all images and brlans and brlyts from the existing channel Add the extracted images (see below) and brl*s Create the wad
You have a few options to keep the same format for TPLs
Option 1 A) extract the images as TPL files (not sure if CustomizeMii can do this, so you may have to do it manually with a wad unpacker and a u8 unpacker B) you can add TPL files in CustomizeMii by dragging them into the list of imag
Option 2 A) extract images as PNG (CustomizeMii can definitely do this) B) add them into CustomizeMii, I believe if you set the image type to CI8 (colour index) or IA8 (index with alpha transparency) then add images it will prompt you for the secondary type e.g +rgb565 etc. However it's a long time since I've done this so could be wrong
Option 3 Use TPL.exe (floating around here somewhere) by pbsds to convert PNG to exotic TPL formats and drag them in as in option 1

Re: USB Channel - USB Loader Forwarder
Crap, I should have tried at least when I didn't saw "CI8+XXXX" in the dropdown list, CustomizeMii prompts you for the secondary type as you said. Meh, now I feel like even more noob xD.
Option 2 was the one for me, thank you for the help!
