Post WiiFlow by Benjay
Hello !!

So here it is !!!!

This forwarder is based on the Excite truck banner , with elebits sound part.

The rest of the video shows this awesome loader named wiiflow , wearing my Carbonik theme , that matches with the forwarder.
Theme is available here :
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=160365

and the loader here:
http://hibernatus34.free.fr/wii/WiiFlowBeta2.rar

Many many thanks to CountZero , MattJD and Jacol Beyros for their precious help and their patience.
Many thanks to Bluescreen from GBAtemp for his .dol , with splash and no text ;)

Comments are welcome !!

I've taken the liberty of updating this with the forwarder for the current incarnation of Wiiflow. Now, when I say Wiiflow, I mean the official Wiiflow project, not the Wiiflow Advanced offshoot. It's been installed and tested on my Wii running 4.3U, so it should be all good for anyone. Enjoy! :)

Glad to see things are still up and running around here! :)

Does this work on WiiU? Did you use the forwarder found in their WAD?

I don't know...I just took the original channel and pulled the forwarder out of the current official Wiiflow channel and stuck it in...I would like to replace the music too, but haven't had time to look into that. I don't see why this channel wouldn't work, but so far as I know, there are no cIOS's working on the WiiUs vWii yet. If this has changed, let me know!

nice...i did some poking around and saw where progress had been made, just no specific guides/tutorials. my harddrive isn't working on the wiiu at all though, i believe due to it not being externally powered. :/ not sure i'm willing to risk my shiny new awesomeness yet, lol. do you know if it is possible to use one hdd for wiiu and vwii purposes?

unfortunately the USB ports on the Wii U are under powered so you need a USB Y cable to give your hdd extra power on the Vwii

yeah, I am aware of that issue, thanks nintendo. -.- thing is, it's a small portable drive with a 2.5 laptop hdd, so I'm surprised it needed the extra power.

On a somewhat related note, I've just discovered that the dvd drive on my wii is going out...some games don't slide in smoothly and don't load. It's out of warranty so it would cost $75 to have nintendo fix it...and I would probably get one that can't read dvds back. anything I can do? or is it a lost cause?

Seems like a factory-side malfunction, and should be repaired free of charge, aside from shipping expences

Gamestop is doing double credit for console trades...if I can mod the vWii, I may just trade it...it mostly just sits these days anyway.
