I asked around at #wiidev regarding the forwarder issue and the best answer I got was from crediar who basically said what we needed was an asm stub to load the forwarder into MEM2 and run it from there, which should solve the overlapping memory issues. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to actually do this.

Post Re: WiiSX Channel by CountZero
Just noticed CountZero was doing this at 1am! Bet he didn't intend for it to take that long when he started in the evening.

I've been there, "I know I should go to bed, but just one more tweak."
[repeat 50 times and forget to sleep, wake up feeling shitty and wish you hadn't!]

Shame he's gone :(

Post Re: WiiSX Channel by CountZero
I've tried both WiiSX full & Retro. The retro just sits at loading dol & freezes. The full just when you pull up the channel but before I press start when it goes into the second part it give me an error message saying "files corrupted." I've tried this channel on 3 different wii's with same result. I don't know if the download is bad or what. Can anyone help me? -.-

Mango, don't think that the problem, he says it craps out before he presses
Start. Not sure what that can be... Try redownloading it and use a different wad installer, MMM or YAWMM

Post Re: WiiSX Channel by CountZero
Ya it's on the SD card. I have all the other emulator channels using the same wad manager. Do you think it could really be that. Also I noticed that the channels Nick666 & wilsoff are using for their latest channels is IOS58. I've been using IOS250. Do you think I can just start using IOS58 for these other channels? Would it be better & not need cIOS's for these channels anymore?
Also why is IOS58 all of the sudden popular? Are there any other WiiSX channels other than Countzero's? BTW Wilsoff's Snes9xGX channel is pretty cool.

Post Ios58
The serious devs have always disliked the use of cios as the legallity is questionable and they are often used for piracy. However, until Ninth released iOS 58 there was no other easy way to get full USB 2.0 support. It also allows AHBROT? (fuller access to the wii?) but I'll let someone who knows tell you more about that.

Currently it seems no one has a channel that works for WiiSX beta 2.1. Does anyone have one that can boot Beta 2.1?
